Welcome to BeSelfSufficient.net. I wanted to post about what you can expect from this site over the coming weeks.
If you are like me, you are contemplating how you can save money on food and protect your family from trying times. In short, you want to be self sufficient. We all do. The idea of being able to protect and feed your family out of your own backyard is a wonderful one.
I know. I am working hard to completely reduce my family’s need on big box stores. Being self sufficient could even mean I have more than I need which could be sold or bartered to neighbors. The health benefits of know exactly what is on and in your food can really make a difference in health related issues.
If you’re going to bet on someone, wouldn’t you rather bet on yourself? Me too! I started this website to collect resources and information I have found helpful to become self sufficient.
